In life, all good things do eventually come to an end. My six weeks at By Design Interiors has definitely been a good thing. Actually, a really great thing! I have learned so much from the wonderful women I have worked with. Not only did I learn things about the design world, I developed some great relationships along the way. I had the opportunity to accompany designers on client meetings, visits to job sites, and attend networking and industry events. I was very fortunate not to be given menial “intern” tasks. In fact it was the opposite; I was able to work on AutoCAD drawings, and was included on material selections. Designers asked my opinion and then were very encouraging and eager to hear my ideas. They were so excited to teach me things that are valuable to this trade. By Design Interiors is a group of wonderful designers and savvy business women. Thanks so much to Cindy Aplanalp, Amber Reddoch and Erika Barczak! You all have taught me so much, and have been great friends to me.

Clark Residence

One of By Design Interiors client's, Donna Clark, has worked and collected to create this quilt of antique tile that will work as a back splash behind the range in her kitchen. She has been collecting these tiles from all over Europe for more than a year, and each one has a great story. I can't wait tosee the finished product!
